Objective Gap Safety was the first company to run dedicated Gap Year Travel and Safety courses and remains the market leader. Launching our Gap Year Travel and Safety Course in 2002, over 24 years ago and establishing itself as a valuable course for the inexperienced young traveller.

The course is all about thinking safe and being aware of the different conditions that might be faced whilst travelling or backpacking abroad. We find with some thought and planning, most potential dangers can be avoided. It's essential that gap year travellers are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to stay safe on their travels. We help with all aspects of planning their gap year, giving advice and tips to stay safe and importantly, how to make the most of their travels, get off the beaten track and explore safely.

We also deliver a range of courses for Expeditions, Leisure and Adventure Travel, Business Travel Awareness Courses as well as Hostile Environment Safety Training (HEST/HET/HEAT) for journalists, the media, charities and NGOs.
